K&M Tuba Stand in DEG Carrying Case

I have a K&M Tuba Stand for use when playing (which I love), while K&M offers a carrying case for their stand for use when not playing, they do not offer one for the playing stand. Has anyone tried to use the DEG carrying case? If so does the K&M Stand Fit?
