Since I'm an undergraduate student, pretty much depends on my class schedule of the day. I try to get about 6 hours on the horn a day. A dream day would be 2 hours in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, and 2 at night. With my schedule, it's hard to do that unless I get up here at 5:00 in the morning! I'm NOT counting ensemble rehearsals for the practice. To each his/her own though. I'd say do as much as your body will let you, but listen to your body. If it tells you to stop, stop.
