I have never been to Interlochen, but I can comment on 2 things about it. I had a student one summer who was attending Interlochen. His name is Rob Vagi. Rob is an excellent musician as evidenced by his superb finishes in the Falcone competition these past two years.
I had the pleasure of doing my undergrad with Tom Riccobono. Tom is a fantastic player and teacher and cares very much about his students. The number of students that have left his studio and gone on to the best music schools in the nation speaks volumes about his teaching.
I recommend you check out the Interlochen website and, if I'm correct, last time I checked there was a separate Low Brass Studio page.
