I agree. My Miraphone is probably one of the newest on the board, so this is what I see when I examine Rick's categories-
Linkage-New, with the Minibal system(DVS linkage), metal ends, not a problem from it
Bracing-Ample
Brass-Some dings in the bell, but considering that the only dents in the horn are there and on the side of the bottom bow due to the K&M tuba stand I carried in the bell(my mistake), the horn is very durable. The Jupi-King 2350's dent more easily.
The horn is made from a heavy-gauge goldbrass, but that may be in compensation for the relative softness of that metal. Still, it sounds good, but it is used in a school environment, so these dents are to be expected.
