Before you get one from TE, go to www.tuba.com and check it out. I don't know...there's something about american installed plastic linkage parts and a higher price tag that told me to import from germany. I love the TE model I have played. He had to tell me to give him is horn back the first time I played it and after that I never wanted to go back to those beat up miraphones or new yamaha 321's. I think they are very good horns. COnsistant and free sound and a nice low registure comperable to that of a miraphone. This guy has had his since TE started selling them and it still looks great. There is only one tiny dent on the horn's bottom bow. This is very supprising because he doesn't take good care of it.

When I have the money, I'll probably get one because they have what I need and want in a tuba. They are in Bb. But so are euphoniums.

(if you have the money, shop around first. If not you may regret it!!)
