If you really must buy a middle range horn, the 321 is definitely the way to go. If you are a serious player, you would be much happier with a good large bore horn, maybe compensating if you can find a good deal. A non-compensating instrument sounds like a good deal, but the day I sold mine and bought a Besson 967 was the greatest day in my playing career.
