I just purchased a St. Petersburg tuba through TE, and with it came a Rose model mouthpiece. The response was great in the upper and lower registers, but I'm having trouble in the middle. The mouthpiece has a very deep cup, almost shaped like that
of a french horn. I haven't played for a while, so I'm curious whether it's me or the mouthpiece. Anyone out there have any knowledge of this mouthpiece? Thanks!
