I have been told that due to EPA and OSHA restriction on the chemicals used in plating, that there's only 1 place in the US to get silver plating done, and that is from Anderson Plating in Indiana. I did a little business with them 3 or 4 years ago, had a damaged valve ground down and replated. They did a fine job, cost $45. Maybe someone else knows somewhere else plating is done. You might ask a local instrument repair shop where they send their replating jobs.
