I agree that you should onoly need the CC, however youo may want to take the F along in case the conductor wants a lighter sound in the Wagner. Since that is a bass tuba part rather than a contrabass tuba part, the conductor may want a color that would be changelling to get on a CC without sacrificing your level of comfort with the part.
