Yes, the Grand Rapids is a York-their second line. You probably have a large one with the 19-1/2" bell. I've seen quite a few of these, and have a couple of them. There seems to be a chronic problem with the low register(right around the low Bb) on these. I have converted several 3-valve top action tubas to 4-valve front action with valve sets from fiberglass sousaphones, but not one of these.. Increasing the bore size on your EEb might improve the low register also. Bore size on the Yorks were around .650". Moving up to .698" which is common on most sousaphones would probably be beneficial.
