I just listed a very rare and sought-after trumpet in close to "mint" condition on eBay. It is an F.E. Olds (California-made) "Raphel Mendez" model (a custom signature model which they offered in very limited production). It includes the original case and even the "Mendez" model mouthpiece, which is a little "prize" in itself.
If you know of a trumpet-playing friend who is a jazz musician (or is "also" a jazz musician), this rare trumpet might be of interest to them. If there is a trumpet bbs like this tuba one, I would appreciate knowing about it.
