Regarding the intonation of CC horns. It almost seems that the better the horn, the more tuning problems are reported. I often hear of the quirks with the Nirshels(sp), Yorkbrunners(sp), and experience it with my favorite BBb and CC horns. The problems are fixable, though it takes an extra amount of work I would rather not have to deal with(some really funky fingerings on just certain notes in addition to the standard slide pulls), however the sound makes the work worthwile. Anyone else noticed this? It's like we have to choose between great sound, or great intonation, but can't get both!
