Doug, it's EASY to get a tunning jigger put on the first valve slide. Any competent repairman can get Mirafone 5th valve linkages and modify it so you can lean on the paddle THROUGH your thumb ring to throw the first slide out. As for a jigger on the main slide, it is difficult and tricky to do it on a 'side pointing' tuning slide like your 186 has; but not impossible. A lever system HAS been worked out by a repairman in the midwest. Let me know how it turns out. Tony Clements
