VMI does make B&S tubas, and the other B&S BBb that Steve mentioned is/was labeled the PT-2, which is, in every way that I could find, identical to the VMI 3301. I'll still stick with my 3302, anyway.
The real difference between the PT-1 and the VMI 4v rotary BBb (they do also list a 3-rotor and a 5-rotor) that I've noticed was the bell size. Maybe there's more to it than that...
Resale value? Who cares what that is if you're planning to keep it! :-)
