My Holton was the horn Gerhard Meinl copied when he
started on the 2165 project in the early 90's....as payment
to the then-owner, he did a cosmetic refurb on it and re-plumbed
the 5th valve branch. Interestingly, Meinl also polished the satin
finish off of the horn prior to replating. While I would not
go so far as to say it is "tits"...it is still a very pretty horn even
eight years later. The only thing more eye candy-impressive
is my teacher's new silver Yorkbrunner!
