Yes. What I heard of the week's proceedings was interesting, inspiring, and thought provoking. Meanwhile, the nearby pub had to put on extra staff !!

Highlights

Many from all corners of the conference mentioned Oystein Baadsvik's recital performance as a highlight. But as you would expect, everyone had great brass playing coming out of (or should I say going into) their ears!

I had the honour of being a Jury Member for the Second Round of the tuba competition, which was a great experience, and a chance to hear some excellent music-making. I also performed with Jun Yamaoka (jazz euphonium player) in his concert.
