Old horn / leadpipe ?

I have an older (early 70's) Rudy 3/4 that I really like a ton. However, in the past month I noticed that it seemed increasingly difficult to focus notes on it. I also found that the leapipe (which is not on the bell) moves around a lot more than it used too (has always been a pretty "vibrant" horn). I can't see any loose/broken joints - so I wonder if it is just a little loose where the leapipe and mouthpipe meet (and where that spot meets the bell) or if it is possible that the metal has just deteriorated due to age to move around more. The leadpipe does move about 1/8-1/4 of an inch with not much physical force, and even at mp most notes (esp low c) vibrate it enough so that it feels like it could take your hand off! -Ideas and suggestions?

Thanks!
