I played bone with Eric at Eastfield J.C. back in 1980-81. He was looking for some time oon tenor, and came and played with us. He had played bass bone in the One O'Clock at NTSU, and was doing freelance work around town. About six years ago he refurbished a friend's Bach 42B and I've never seen a horn look or work better. He was then working for Brook Mays in Ft. Worth. I wrote to him about a year ago to see if he'd work on my bone, but he said he was playing full-time and wasn't doing any repairs.
