Matts advice is very good and you should try it. But if the result isn't what you want, try 2nd valve. Almost every YBB321 I have ever played or heard played also plays that note sharp and 2nd valve is usually closer on those horns than 3rd. By the way, you have to have a fine ear to have this problem. That G is often centered and pitch be damned. This is also the case on my Willson EEb with the similar note (Middle C). It plays nicely with 2nd valve and the lip trill in the Effie Suite is conveniently done with 2nd valve, too. It is more difficult with 1 and 2.
