hello,
i am a high school sophomore and an active band member. i play this very large very old silver renolds 4 valve BBb tuba with a bell that goes forward. anywho, throught the insturment there is a strange purple color. i have tryed to clean it but it is almost like it is some kind of corosion. there are also some spots of green that are definately some kind of decay but i dont know about the purple. all of my class mates and my band instructor are as puzled as i am. does anyone know what this coloration is and if so do you know how to get rid of it? thank you.
