If you have really strong technique, the Barret Oboe Method has a ton of oboe/bassoon duets in it that would give you and your flautist friend a bunch of drill material - getting used to each other's intonation, etc., prior to working on the solo that you plan to perform. If you are at a university, any oboe major will have this book.
