Just a tid bit of information for some of you interested in this horn. I was talking with a Japanese tuba playing friend of mine who mentioned that Yamaha talked about reproducing one of these horns if ordered. The price for a Japanese player was stated to be 4,500,000yen. With the yen to dollar rate now at 108yen - $1.00, you do the math. Any takers? Anybody want to take out a mortgage(or second) on their house? Although these tubas may be the new hot ticket, I think I will stick with my Holton for now.
