Tony and everyone. The CA-20 is terrific for a small, inexpensive tuner--AND it picks up the low notes unlike the AT-1 I own. More mind boggling is the software "Intonation Trainer" for PC or Mac. It can be a tuner, it can be a tuner in just tone temperament, and more than that it can play back notes. Play in a C, and tell it you are the bass and it will play back an E and G--so you can tune by ear and by the meter. You can play C and tell it you are the third and it will play an Ab and Eb, again so you tune by ear and by the meter. This software costs just slightly more than the AT-1.
