I had one of those Conns. It was a nice sounding instrument, however there were some pretty big pitch problems as I remember it. The open f tended to be very flat which is uncharacteristic for BBbs in general but somewhat common for Conns of this vintage. Perhaps an adjustable tuning slide mechanism would work out on it to solve the tuning quirks.
