You did say small CC, right?
I was in the same boat .... and had
previously owned a Mirafone 185, a MW 2145,
and a CB-50. The small CC I'm happiest with
is the Holton TU330CC. With its "American taper"
and 18" bell, I find this tuba to be extremely
agile but with a "CC" sound I just could never
get with the Ebs and small Yamaha I tried.
