I know there is a wealth of info in the archives on this subject but I would like some fresh opinions. A friend of mine has a student who is a very talented tubist. She is in 11th grade and is thinking of pursuing a degree in music. Her parents are willing to invest in a good tuba and she will be looking in the next few months. I have recommended two or three horns to her( CC tubas) and suggested she make a trip to Dillons with me to try several horns. I would welcome other opinions as to which horns would be suitable for her. I will be making recommendations to them in a couple of weeks. Thank you in advance for your help.
