I just saw a broadcast of a Lawrence Welk's reunion show on PBS earlier this evening. Did anyone catch what horn his tuba player, Dick Maloof, was using? It looked like the new compact King.
I've been watching L. Welk for years and keep thinking that Dick must have quite a collection of horns. He has used things from souaphones to rotary Mirafones(?) and everything in between! Does anyone have any ideas?
