A couple of months ago I was putting on my gig bag to get going for class, and the right backpack strap broke and my tuba plummeted to the ground, causing damage to the bell. I just wanted to let everyone aware of the gig bag that Conn is, or was selling with there new line of tubas. Although it is a great horn , the gig bag doesn't compare to the tuba. It is a black Altieri type bag, that has faulty straps. I believe Conn is pulling that bag because they have had a couple of complaints about it, including mine. If you do have a problem just call the UMI people (who are just awesome to deal with),and they'll help you out.They ended up replacing my horn with a new one.
