Well I just took a MW2000 home the other day for a trial and I must say the shop will not get this one back. It is about the best tuba I have ever played, if not the best! It is very very flexible and would work fabulous in a BQ as well as larger ensembles. I was not a fan of the first MW2155 but this is a completely different beast. The intonation on mine is outstanding. With a combination of my Schilke HII and my Cooley Helleberg I am able to get the sound I need from this horn. The biggest draw back on this horn for some people might be the PRICE! I am not sure what they are running in the states right now. I think around $11,000 or 12,000. Great tuba.
