With all due respect:

I like superinflated egos!

But even those should stay within some reasonable proportions.

The YEB321 or whatever tuba, that has been photomanipulated into the grip of the Wenger tamer, has not undergone this manipulation true to proportions.

The "sidearms" of the tamer would take their grip on or just above the ferrules connecting the bell and the first branch to the bottom bow of most "normal" tubas.

The tamer should be heavy to secure a low center of gravity for balance purposes. But if it was of the relative proportions presented on the illustration it would be of no use for the youngsters, whom it should benefit the most.

With these reservations I still think, that Linky has contributed to the general understanding of, how the tamer works.
