I have a Besson non-compensating 3+1 euphonium. I bought it partially for that reason, that and I really like the Besson tone. I find it much easier to play than the inline models, so even though I'm strong enough to play the fourth valve with my pinky, I find the 3+1 much more comfortable to play. I'd say try both and find out what is more comfortable for you.
