I agree with your assessment. I played these three tubas with a bunch of others recently and found the one for me, the MW2000. It totally blew away the competition. Like you said you have to be willing to spend the extra bucks for one and evaluate your uses for the horn. The Conn's are great little tubas for the money and can be used in a number of same situations as the 2000. It is a matter of personal taste and BUCKS in the end! I am not a fan of the 2155. They just did not do it for me.
