This is the Holton that Gerhard Meinl copied to start the 2165 project. When Herr Meinl had this horn in 1991, he also did a cosmetic refurb and the interesting, tune-able 5th valve plumbing you can (sorta) see here. I was hoping to get a reply from the M-W's seller as to whether this was "the" horn which was at Dillon's a few months ago. No answer yet
