Dan Perantoni will be performing Thursday night, December 20 at the Mid-West Band & Orchestra Conference. He will be accomanied by the Sprague High School Wind Ensemble.
Now I can take the opportunity to plug the Sprague Wind Ensemble. This group from Salem, Oregon has consistently been one of the top high school wind ensembles in Oregon. The school's entire music program has been a Grammy Signature School for the past three or four years, being named as the National Signature School (top dog) last year. They are EXCITED about going to Chicago. Please take the opportunity to hear them.
BTW - My daughter is the 2nd or 3rd flute, the blonde. Say hi to her and tell her what you think of their playing.
