While the grey plastic miraphone linkage are very brittle, I find the black dubro linkage to be VERY strong. I ahve used it for linkage for valves and a trigger mechanism, and never had one wear out or break.
That is a nice price for the meinl linkage, sounds like the way to go for that horn
