Has anyone tried this?

Just bought a York Artist Eb sousaphone with the hopes of developing some semblance of jazz chops/street musician experience. It actually plays much better than I could have hoped for but the valves are sloppy/very very leaky and it would really be nice to have a fourth and fifth valve. I'm also partial to rotory valves.

My question:
Has anyone ever wedged a Willson or B&S rotory valve section into one of these old ladies or something similar? The body is in fairly good condition and has a taper that seems to have a lot of virtues. Fixing a larger graduated section to it could potentially make it play and sound a lot like my PT-15. No? I'm pretty sure it could fit and still be ergonomic. Is this experiment worth it or am I just being silly. Either way.. if I do this it will be atleast a year away when finances will(hopefully) be better.

What are your thoughts?
joseph
