I've test played both tubas at Lowbrass Werks (Campbell, Ca), and both horns play really well. The PCK is a really large tuba - a true 6/4 machine. The PCM is either a 5/4 horn, or a really big 4/4 one. It feels and sounds bigger than than the Miraphone 188, for example. I'm guessing (and it's just a guess) that it's somewhat similar in size to the Rudy Meinl 5/4 pison valve CC; M-W 2155; or the new M-W 2000. One characteristic of both of these horns is that they're relatively wide. If I owned the PCK, I'd experiment with using a stand with it. As someone suggested, talk to Tony Clements.
