Do you mean an equally tempered scale? Or a pythagoran scale (like most string players and singers use)? Of course, a pythagoran scale only works in one key, so the tuba would have to shift it for other keys, but only when appropriate.
My wish is therefore not for a better tuba, but for an ensemble that plays perfectly in tune with me, no matter what I play.
