I don't think that is too much if it is in really good shape. It may be even a bargain.
Also Imperials have a very good low register if one bores out the mouthpiece so that it has no back bore. The director, Mr. Draper of the Edgeware Works of Boosey & Hawkes once told me (more than 40 years ago that the only use for the backbore on his euphs was to make them equally stuffy in all registers. Any small machine shop will do it for very little remuneration.
