Here are some common ones that I think are great:
Pictures, Night on Bald Mountain, Russian Easter Montreal with Dutoit (Ellis Wean I think, it's great playing!) Also the recording of Stravinski Petrushka (Ellis Wean is awesome!)
Shostakovich 7 CSO
Any Shostakovich Symphony recorded with the Royal Phil with Ashkenazy conducting
Prokofiev Alexander Nevsky & Kije Suite recorded by Montreal SO with Dutoit conducting
Prokofiev Symphony 5 There are great recordings for St. Louis, Montreal, LA Phil, etc (pick your tuba player for this concerto.)
Wagner Overtures Chicago SO with Solti
