We're just having a little fun. But seriously, it's awfully close to misleading advertising when a vendor insists on measuring the outside of a piece of tubing and quotes it as "bore".

Willson's quaint little gambit radically changes the impression a potential buyer might have of the instrument. 0.700" qualifes as medium-bore for a piston instrument, whereas 0.750 might well qualify as a large bore.

From all indications, Willson has been told about this practice not exactly being on the up-and-up and has done nothing about it. What's next? Measuring the circumference of the bell and quoting it as bell size?
