Sorry I left out a "t".

So who is "more" right? Is it Websters or Amarican Heritage? Doesn't American Heritage and English Language nearly constitute an oxymoron for as much bastardization that has been done on the English language by the populus of North America?

Dictionaries are opinion as much as they are fact. The contrasts in usage shows that. As I stated earlier, the fact is that it is in the dictionary, and it is used in the English Language in spoken form. Specifically to the vernacular of some regions such as New England.

post scriptum - I put as much faith in "Dictionary.com" as I would most other dot.coms out there.
