I agree with you, Christian. While the loud, obnoxious players might be annoying (which are NOT necessarily all high school players; Believe it or not, us high schoolers are NOT all obnoxious *or* the only breed of bothersome people on the planet) it is all supposed to be about the holiday spirit and the act of being there, not your skill level. Dan was going to take me to Tuba Christmas even though I can only play an F scale and "Louie Louie." I would not have been able to sound even remotely skilled, but I would have been with my boyfriend and part of the festivities. We can't carry out those plans, though, because of some unfortunate turns of event, but we are still going to watch. But anyway, while I understand what you're saying about a few disturbing people..I don't think you should let a few ruin it for all and should just enjoy the season and the Tuba-ing!
