If you put this under the post you MEANT to put it under, may I ask that you read it again? My ENTIRE point is that this is NOT about age, but behavior! I've said NOTHING about any particular school class. I have generalized that one PARTICULAR shortcoming, out of countless shortcomings, is MORE COMMON though NOT THE NORM among the young. Furthermore, had we broadened the discussion to other instruments, I would have agreed that the trombone (my main instrument) probably IS a greater offender in most bands than the tuba - but that is not the least bit pertinent to this discussion. And I certainly never said anything about abusing the instruments, just abusing the audience WITH the instruments.
