It might be an import. I bought it here in China in a crappy little industrial town, a few hundred miles south of Shanghai. I'll keep my eyes open for the Strauss on CD. I think I might have it on record already. I know their "Le Sacre du Pritemps" is also excellent.

Incidentally, at Ravinia, this summer, the CSO did Rite, and Tommy Johnson was playing along with Gene. He played it on a double tuba. I think it was a Yammaha F with the appropriate tubing added on one long valve for the CC side(by Rob Stewart?). Once you got used to working the 5th valve (opperated by the left hand) it was a dream. I think he told me that he used that tuba on the soundtrack for "The Sum of all Fears".
