I'd, with little practice time, stick with Gregson or V.W. They're both cute, not too difficult, and offer possibilities of audience appeal.

The V.W. has the problem, if you are not "Mr. Loud", of being too thickly orchestrated. (Most tubers don't know this, because they're usually playing it for their first/only time.) The typical V.W. orchestration is...well...a mess, and difficult for the audience to sort out the tuba from the "goo" - again, unless you're "Mr. Loud", or unless the conductor can ACTUALLY get everyone to cut everything marked ff back to mp .

The John Williams is a real hoot with a gorgeous 2nd mvt., but that's one of those "big practice time committment" pieces.
