I had all mine removed in college and had an upper and lower removed on the same day.
All were impacted and I took about a week to get over each and had no problems playing tuba.
I had mine done in the summer and was working in the fields checking cotton.
Wife had hers done in college and took about a week to get over it.
No big deal and she is a great player, she plays oboe.
