Now, bacause a company owns several other companies it
should not mean that Tempo parts are used in Volvo cars,
I hope not anyway. Why would a manufacturer not want
to put their name on it?
I can understand why Selmer would not want to start renaming
Buffets. But if your going to design, produce, or create
an instrument your name should be on it, even if it's in fine
print on the bell below the "destributer"/"marketer" brand.
Sorry, I havn't given this much thought, so I'm just typing
my current common sence.
Isn't the decision difficult enough for a musician that plays
a tuba, to single out "their" next horn to purchase? Isn't the
price v. brand question enough (to decide if the exra $1000 without
the case is realy worth it)
