Klaus is correct that Finale can be coaxed to produce some mighty pretty output, but I find that I can throw together an acceptable score much faster with Sibelius. Would that there were a common transfer format between the two programs, I could use Finale for the fancy stuff and Sibelius for everything else.
Now all of this may be outdated as I'm still at Sibelius 1.4 and Finale 2001. Sibelius 2.0 is on the way.
