I was one of the sousaphone players Saturday. I wasn't with any of the schools that brought four of them or so...I can independently. I can see where you are coming from...there was one school that brought four & then did mess things up at times. They blasted a lot. I didn't try to show off. I played the parts as they were written & were suppose to sound. I followed the music. But again, I can see where you were coming from about some of the sousas.
